In this lesson you will master the art of movement when cutting. You will learn how to work in the exterior of the head, and create increasing lengths from center back to outer hairline while working vertically around the head. In the fringe area, subsections are used in diagonal right and diagonal left fashion to maintain weight through the middle area of the fringe/bangs. You can learn how a non parallel cutting line is used to emphasize shape and create a point of length. Triangular sections and expanding to pivotal subsections create weight and eliminate length. These techniques result in a versatile style in the front area of the face, which can be adapted to an asymmetrical look that accentuates a masculine jaw.
